Do you host private parties?

Seifert Cellars is always pleased to host private parties for your next special event. Please contact us at least four weeks before your event to make your reservation. Facilities are reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Does Seifert Cellars have a Facebook page?

Seifert Cellars certainly does have a Facebook page! While you can almost always find out what is going on with Seifert Cellars on the website, the Facebook page is a fun way to get quick updates from your favorite Texas winery. Like us on Facebook today!  www.facebook.com/seifertcellars

What are Seifert Cellars Tasting Room hours?

Due to decreased activity at Lake Ivie this summer, the Tasting Room is currently only open by appointment. Please contact us at least one week prior to your visit to schedule your appointment. 

Where is the vineyard located?

Please note, we do not recommend entering Seifert Cellars' address into your GPS Navigational System as there are several Lake Ivie (Ivey) Drives in our area, and electronic devices often do not provide correct navigational results.

From US Highway 83: Turn onto FM-1929 going east. (US Highway 83 runs between US Highway 67 and US Highway 87; FM-1929 is roughly 4 miles north of Paint Rock, TX and about 13 miles south of Ballinger, TX.) You will travel about 13 miles. You will see a sign for Concho Recreation Area. Turn left onto RR-11. You should start seeing signs for Seifert Cellars after you turn onto RR-11. Travel another mile and turn right onto CR 4763. Regrettably, CR 4763 is a dirt road, and you will travel on this dirt road about a mile until the road "forks" in several different directions. Choose the PRIVATE Road (to the left of the brown PRIVATE Road sign). Follow the PRIVATE Road a short distance. You will be able to see a house on the right up on a hill. Travel past the gate for the house, and you will see the entrance to Seifert Cellars & Wild West Vines on the right. Will Seifert Cellars be hosting any special public events at the winery in the near future?

Seifert Cellars hosts an annual event at the winery known as the Seifert Cellars & Wild West Vines Extravaganza. Additionally, Seifert Cellars hosts smaller events in the tasting room from time to time. As these events are scheduled, we update our website with the information.

Will Seifert Cellars be participating in any wine festivals or other events in the near future?

Seifert Cellars participates in several wine festivals across Texas throughout the year. As we schedule our participation in each event, we update our website with the information.

Does Seifert Cellars ever acquire grapes from vineyards other than Wild West Vines?

Seifert Cellars has had to acquire grapes or juice from vineyards other than Wild West Vines. When this happens, we make every effort to buy Texas grapes.

What types of grapes does Wild West Vines grow?

Wild West Vines cultivates ten different varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Muscat Alexander, Muscat Blanc, Riesling, Syrah, Tempranillo, Vermintino, and Viognier.

Can Seifert Cellars ship to my state?

Due to alocholic beverage codes varying from state to state, we are not able to ship to all states. These are the states we are able to ship to this at this time:

Is there a minimum purchase amount required for shipping?

No, Seifert Cellars does not require a minimum purchase in order to ship. We will gladly ship you a single bottle, if that is your wish. However, due to shipping costs, we recommend that a customer purchase at least six bottles to get the best shipping price.
